Laetitia Casta

90's French supermodel Laetitia Casta was born in Normandy in 1978. She was the face of Guess?, Pepe Jeans, Chanel, Dior, L'Oréal, Alberta Ferretti, Victoria's Secret, Gyvenchy, Tommy Hilfiger and Yves Saint Laurent, among others. She appeared in three consecutive Sports Illustrated covers and in the Pirelli Calendar.

She was Yves Saint Laurent's muse and in 1999, Casta came out first of a national survey to be the new model for the bust of Marianne, an allegorical symbol of the French Republic, which stands inside every French town hall.

Now she's dedicated almost completely to acting, mostly in European movies, and she's engaged to Italian actor Stefano Accorsi, with whom she has a son. She also has another daughter from a previous relationship.

She's my favourite model and it's just shocking to see how different she is from runaway models nowadays.

This counts because Liv Tyler started out as a model!!! =)

To me, Liv is THE most beautiful woman in the world. I'm pretty satisfied with the genes I've been given, but, if given the option, I would trade "looks" with Liv in probably a nanosecond. This is what I copied from Wikipedia about her modeling career...it's very short:

"Starting a career as a model at the age of fifteen, Tyler appeared on the covers of magazines and starred in commercials for makeup. However, after becoming bored with modeling less than a year after starting to model, she quickly moved into acting."

And I am totally going overboard with the photos, but she's just so lovely!

Sorry that I only post about blonde models - I really do think women besides blondes are gorgeous. I promise!

Anyway, Natasha Poly was born in Perm, Russian on 12 July, 1985. She's 5'10". She was discovered at a modeling competition in Moscow and began her career in 2004. Natasha has appeared in ad campaigns for Gucci, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli, Sonia Rykiel, Nine West, and Dolce & Gabbana and has done runway for Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Gucci, Versace, and Victoria's Secret among others.

The last few photos are from this season's Gucci ad campaign.

I love this girl! I thinks she's absolutely gorgeous. I really wasn't able to find too much information on her...just her stats. She was born in 1986 and is from San Diego, CA (yaaaay Southern California!!). She is 5' 10" and claims to be a size 4. I am so ridiculously sick of this size nonsense. She cannot possibly be a size 4! Are these special model sizes? Have these measuring people EVER been shopping? Anyway, it looks like she's only been on two magazine covers so far...give her time. She's done work for about a million designers so I will only list a few: Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Proenza Schouler, Valentino, and Christian Dior.
