90's French supermodel Laetitia Casta was born in Normandy in 1978. She was the face of Guess?, Pepe Jeans, Chanel, Dior, L'Oréal, Alberta Ferretti, Victoria's Secret, Gyvenchy, Tommy Hilfiger and Yves Saint Laurent, among others. She appeared in three consecutive Sports Illustrated covers and in the Pirelli Calendar.
She was Yves Saint Laurent's muse and in 1999, Casta came out first of a national survey to be the new model for the bust of Marianne, an allegorical symbol of the French Republic, which stands inside every French town hall.
Now she's dedicated almost completely to acting, mostly in European movies, and she's engaged to Italian actor Stefano Accorsi, with whom she has a son. She also has another daughter from a previous relationship.
She's my favourite model and it's just shocking to see how different she is from runaway models nowadays.

1i really like her!! shes so sweet and perfect in her own way!!!
2Lovely post!
I love her!!! I remember an ad that she makes for Ralph Lauren some years ago, she was in a shirt and a pair of jeans and she was really so so gorgeous that every time I saw that ad I asked myself how was possible to look so stunning in such a simple outfit!!!! And yep, you have reason, she has nothing to do with most of models... she is really curvy!!! Hehe, I´m so used to the skinny models that in some pics I've seen her a bit chubby (exaggerating it obviously)
3I've loved her for ages! I love her voluptuous figure and charming face
Oh, and that picture of her with Aishwarya Rai is divine. There's a double dose of beauty for ya
4wow. she is stunningly gorgeous. and you're right!!! it is SO shocking to see the contrast between her and the supermodels of today. it makes me a little bit queasy actually. i really hope we can get back to a place where a woman with a body is considered the picture of beauty....actually, it would be nice if we could just appreciate all women's bodies. but no more of this stick figure stuff!! it's not good for our body images! thanks for sharing this. great post!
5she is an angel.
6I always LOVED her. You know that kind of beauty you see in other people and you can't stop looking at them cause you think, "If I can just stare at them long enough maybe I will pick up their secret and start to look like that myself" THAT'S pretty much how I feel when looking at pics of this model.
